Dirty ride

The boys decided to go out in straight after the rains. Proved to be a very interesting and not to mention - MUDDY - ride. Thoroughly enjoyable though.

Now who is going to clean up this mess?

Dusty Ride-Out 23-09-2007

Had a bit of a dusty ride this time. We took a new route that brought us to Darnall. From there across to Nonoti Mouth and then onto Bodasingh's beach. We spent a short while here before making our way back to Stanger Manor. Total distance covered: approximately 60kms.

Had a visitor this time(on the right). Asheel was quite pleased with this ride.

Too much dust on trail left Don a bit pale.

We stopped at a supply store in New Guelderland to stretch out a bit.

This was Saiesh's first trip out with us. Enjoyed every second of it.

Ride Out 26-8-2007

We arrived at the beach quite early. The tide was out and the water a fair temperature.

The shoreline here was pushed back almost 15 metres during the "high tide" episode.

Sailesh and Don having a quick snack.
...no, the rod is not ours. We met a few fishermen trying their luck out in this low tide. They weren't so lucky though. Fishing was reallly bad.

Time to mount up and hit the road.

We explored a new route that took us close to Darnall. Quite a route through the canefields thereafter.

RIDE-OUT - SUNDAY - 01_07_2007

This is the new addition to our quad family - an ATV250.

Not much to say on this ride. Got some good pics though.

We hit our first stop off point approximately 20 minutes from home.

This little 200cc is now about 2 years old and still running strong.

Final leg to the beach.

On the beach . . . . . .

View from above . . .
We found another trail that lead us from Bodasinghs beach toward Nonoti Mouth.

The wind really started to gust at this point. You can see evidence of this from the tree swaying over and the huge drift in the ocean.

Windy Ride-out

Sunday morning saw us on the beach bright and early.

We're back

It's been a while, but well worth the wait. We took a morning ride out and we hit the beach at about 07h00. The wind started picking up at about 09h00.

However, we still managed to make a new track from Bodasinghs beach all the way across to Nonoti mouth.

Hey there

It's me again. I've been away for a while and could not post any new pics. Truly sorry about that.

I've got a few great pics that I will put up in due course - so watch this space.

Family day out

Today we decided that it will be family day. Nashika, Sailesh, Saiesh and I set out quite early in the morning hoping to catch sunrise at the beach. It was an excellent ride.

We had a quick juice/coffee break before pushing onto New Guelderland.

This is my uncle Joy taking the 200cc through its paces. Much fun was had by all that day.

On the way back - everybody was really tired but we all had a great day outdoors.

Nashika on her way to check out the water.

The journey back was interesting. We found a new track that had been cut because the rains had washed out the normal vehicle road. Quite a view from up here.
